I. University Background Information:

Please provide basic background/profile information about your university (e.g., location, principle emphasis, when founded, number of students, departments).


II. Departmental Information:

Please provide a profile of each university department/institute or other university organization that is applying for a grant (e.g., department, emphasis, number of undergraduates, graduates, principal research programs, professors and their research specialties).



III. Additionally, please provide:

1. Description of current and scheduled research to be performed using Landmark technologies.

2. Description of how Landmark's technology will be used in your department's educational programs.

3. Description of the primary benefits Landmark Graphics Corporation will derive through sponsorship of your research and educational programs.

4. Description of what resources your department or group has for supporting Landmark systems at your site.

5. Provide a list and description of current hardware configuration(s) you intend to run the Landmark systems on.

6. Provide a list of corporations that participate in boards or committees in your department.

7. Provide a list and description of industry sponsored programs that do not compete with  commercial companies.

8. Provide a list and description of any commercial or consulting (proprietary) operations by your department/institute that might conflict with the Landmark grant.

9. Provide a list and description of government sponsored programs that are not open to competition from private industry.

10. Provide a complete inventory of Landmark Graphics Corporation software applications (including those previously obtained from Stratamodel, Inc., Munro-Garrett, Geographix, Advance Geophysical Products, and Western E&P Software) currently in your possession. Please include the number of copies of each application, a copy of the "license.dat" file printouts, current  version number(s), hardware platform type, host-id's, node names, copy of Landmark LAM  diagram (if available), and circumstances under which the software was obtained (e.g., direct purchase, previous grant).

11. Provide copies of any and all grant, research agreements, consortia agreements or similar previously entered into between your department/university and Landmark or one of its entities (see companies listed in Item 10 above).

12. Provide a list of all geoscience and/or engineering functionality (i.e., Landmark software applications) required and number of licenses desired.

13. Provide a list of the geoscience/geology/geophysics/geo-engineering/petroleum engineering (or related) faculty and their research specialty.

14. Provide complete statistics on your educational programs, number of students (undergraduates,  graduates, doctoral candidates, post-doctorates) students country of origin, the leading companies where your geoscience graduates secure employment, internships with major corporations, etc.
